About PAL
The Tuscaloosa Police Athletic League is one of our most
successful and unique programs offered to our community. TPD has the only
nationally affiliated Police Athletic League program in Alabama.
Each week P.A.L. serves over 200 kids with special after
school programs. Many of the programs are conducted at the P.A.L. Gym.
By giving kids healthy, fun activities after school, TPD
helps keep them off the streets and away from gangs, drugs and guns.
Volunteers are always needed and we welcome your assistance
Officer Lillie Leatherwood
Officer Lillie Leatherwood serves as the director of our
programs. She is a member of the P.A.L. international board of directors.
