3rd Annual Mayor’s 5k (April 25, 2009)
The 3rd Annual Mayor's 5K Cup participants took to the streets of downtown Tuscaloosa to raise money and awareness for the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative. In 2006, the Tuscaloosa Pre-K Initiative was created to expand and enhance the award winning Tuscaloosa City Schools Pre-K Program so that all four-year old children, who are academically at-risk, will have an opportunity for a quality education.
